Once you arrive at the Casa do Papagaio you will have a chance to reserve dinner or any meals. The meals at the Casa do Papagaio are based on a selection of the traditional Portuguese food. Clients have the choice of fish, meat or chicken. The dinner menu consists of an entrée soup made from our home grown vegetables, the main course and desert which is also homemade.
There are excellent levada walks like the secular Levada dos Piornais, taking water from Funchal to the more western areas. This levada is situated at the bottom of the hotels land.
