This nice farmhouse is situated in enchanting location, in a green hilly area not far from Florence and Pisa; the farm produces high level quality wines , extravirgin olive oil, honey and a wide choice of typical handmade food specialities cooked following old Tuscan recipes (sauces, jam, pickles). The farmhouse dates back to the beginning of the 20th century and lies on the top of an hill in a panoramic location, surrounded by woods, vineyards and olive-trees,. From the yard in front of the farmhouse you can enjoy the breath-taking view of the old castles and towns of Capraia and Montelupo Fiorentino, renowned for the artistic ceramic and terracotta production since the Middle Ages. The farmhouse secluded location is ideal for those who would like to have relax, country tastes and the living with the colors and smells of nature, while the proximity with historical towns like Vinci, hometown of Leonardo (only 13 km far), or cities like Florence (25 km far), Pisa (50 km), Siena (65 km.) and San Gimignano (45 km) is ideal for those who prefer the historical, cultural and artistic aspects of Tuscan life and craftworks. At disposal : furnished gardens provided with nocturnal lights, panoramic terraces close to a large barbecue-area and an old still working wood burning oven, which was used in the past for bread cooking; swimming pool (15x 8) with toilets; tennis court; table tennis; children playground; laundry-room with washer, iron and ironing-boards; parking; shop with farm products. On request we organize weekly tours of the cellars and the vineyards , guided food and oil/wine tastings.
The surrounding countryside and the woods, which extends for miles beyond the farmhouse, offer many trekking and mountain bike routes; in the neighbourhood of the farm furthermore a golf course, a fishing-lake, a horse riding school . The apartments have been carefully restored respecting original tuscan style, with wooden ceilings, fireplace and floors with “cotto”, pleasantly furnished in typical tuscan style and provided with all comforts (telephone, TV and heating, mosquitos screenings at bedrooms, bathrooms and dining-room windows All apartments (at ground and first floor) have their own private furnished outside space in the garden or in the panoramic terraces, from where you can enjoy the wonderful landscape.
