Cottage in the Snowy Mountains region of New South Wales - Relax & recharge your batteries and escape to the tranquillity of Elm Cottage in the Goobarragandra Valley. Our luxury 2&3 bedroom, fully self-contained cottages, have 180° views of the Goobarragandra River.
River Gum Cottage Main bedroom has a queen size bed, with French doors leading onto the balcony overlooking the river, a walk in robe and private ensuite, with co-ordinated furnishings to create that feeling of luxury. Bedroom 2 has a king size bed with separate French doors opening onto the extensive balcony overlooking the river, again with co-ordinated furnishings which all add to that special feeling of luxury. Bedroom 3 has a trundle bed for the kids or guest/s. Fully equipped kitchen, internal laundry with washing machine, separate dining room large lounge room, with TV, VCR/DVD & stereo system, with French doors opening out to the balcony. Reverse cycle air conditioning throughout.
Blue Gum cottage. The 7mx3m balcony is the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner or a late afternoon drink whilst taking in the views and sounds of the river below. The lounge room has TV with VCR/DVD and stereo system, eat in area and a fully equipped kitchen which overlooks the river, plus internal laundry with washing machine and reverse cycle air conditioning throughout. The bedrooms have been tastefully decorated with the main bedroom featuring a magnificent queen size bed, and bedroom 2 is ideally appointed with a trundle. This cabin is ideal for a family.

Holiday in the Tumut region with four distinct seasons: Mount Selwyn Snowfields, a short drive from the property, provides breathtaking winter scenery and offers down hill or cross country skiing, tobogganing and snowboarding. Mt Selwyn is the perfect "learn to ski resort". Bushwalking: retrace the steps of the early explorers along the famous Hume & Hovell walking track or try a more challenging walk through the high country in Kosciuszko National Park. There is a network of walking tracks that bring mountain streams, high peaks and fabulous views within easy reach. Fishing: the Goobarragandra River offers some of the most beautiful spots to enjoy a day trout fishing. So try your luck and test your skills from the river bank. Or take a short trip to Lakes Blowering and Talbingo and catch a perch or cod or redfin. Water Skiing - rafting, canoeing, sailing and recreational boating are all popular activities at Blowering Dam just 10 minutes from the property.

Golf and Bowling information- Scenic Drives: Tumut Golf Course is a challenging yet picturesque course to test anyone's handicap, so bring your clubs along and after the game enjoy a drink in the clubhouse. Social golfers welcome. Hiring of clubs and golf carts available. There are other good courses at Talbingo and Gundagai.
The Tumut Bowling Club and RSL Club have multiple greens each and visitors are welcome to join in the regular competitions and social events.
Take one the many scenic drive routes and discover the spectacular beauty of the region- see a kangaroo, emu and wombat in their natural habitat, incredible wildflowers in the high country, diverse birdlife, limestone caves, and historic huts.

Midweek Special: 2 Nights Charge $380.00
Long Weekend: 3 Nights Charge $600.00
Easter Weekend: 4 Nights Charge $800.00. Weekly rates $1,260.
