Mansfield is a 40 acre rural cottage just 3 hours north of Sydney. An ideal place to stay if travelling by car from Sydney to Byron Bay and Brisbane. Mansfield has two self-contained cottages (sleeps up to 5 people) and a large farmhouse (sleeps up to 10 people). Everything you need to have a relaxing break is on the property. Fully equipped kitchens, and undercover barbeque area, access to the magnificent Manning River, minutes from renowned surfing beaches, rainforest walks and spectacular views from your private verandahs. Mansfield is a quiet and peaceful haven, and yet only minutes from major towns. Tinonee is a historic riverside village with an Aboriginal Art Gallery, an antique shop with the smallest picture theatre in the world attached, tennis courts, a Museum, a cafe, take-away food and the general store. Golf courses and clubs are just a short drive away. Many restaurants to choose from for wonderful food, some grown locally.
There are rainforest, wetland and river walks on the cottage. You can often see dolphins in the river, kangaroos and wallabies come around the wetland and the birdlife is abundant.

Holiday in Taree, New South Wales: Taree has restaurants, bowling clubs, golf club, shopping centre. Wingham (10 minutes) has historic hotels, restaurants, bowling club, golf club, forest walks and drives. Old Bar (15 minutes) has surfing beaches, fishing, swimming, restuarants, bowling club. Three and half hours north of Sydney.
The Riverbank Walk: Along the riverbank we have developed a 500 meters walk, parts of which are through dry rainforest. We have been working hard to revegetate the riverbank with species that are local to this area. Along the walk are various fishing spots and also chairs to sit and relax along the way. The Manning River is a saltwater estuary and the fish you are likely to catch are bream, flathead and blackfish, so don't forget to bring your rods. We also have a boat ramp which gives guests easy boat access to the river, so if you have a boat, you can enjoy the fishing all the way from Manning Point to Wingham. The Conifer Garden overlooks the Manning River downstream from the property. There is also a picnic area underneath a majestic ironbark that offers cool breezes during warm days.
A great place to relax and re-couperate.: Mansfield has such a serene atmosphere that we have many people coming who need to escape the bussle that has become a way of life in the city. The calming influence of the river, the wildlife and the peace and quiet is rejuvenating. Collect freshly laid eggs for breakfast, catch a fish for lunch and dine at wonderful restaurants at night.

Peak Season $130 /night for a couple or family of 5 (3 children under sixteen). $20 extra / person over the age of sixteen (up to 4 adults). During Dec/Jan weekly bookings encouraged. Mid week prices $110 / night. Minimum 2 nights weekend (discount for 3 nights).
Farmhouse $350 per night (sleeps up to 10people) Mininum 2 nights at weekends.
Deposits are 30% at time of booking, Cancellation policy: if cancelled one month before arrival date, then 30% of the total tariff is non redeemed.
