Stratton Mountain Farmhouse near Stratton Ski Resort, Green Mountains, Vermont - Welcome to Spring Hill Farm near Stratton Ski Resort in the heart of the Green Mountains of Vermont - The farmhouse sits on 70 acres of meadows and woods, set well back from the road. A long driveway crosses Cook Brook and runs through meadows on its way to the farmhouse and barn. The largest of 3 spring-fed ponds is over an acre in size, deep with a firm bottom and a little sandy beach area. It's a wonderful place to go swimming.
The farmhouse was built in 1870 and contains an updated kitchen, dining room, living room, study, 7 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. The bed count is 2 queens, 4 fulls, and 5 twins. All rooms are heated with hot water and there are 2 antique wood-burning stoves and a fireplace to add to the cozy atmosphere. The house has a screened porch and patio with built-in barbecue. There is also a no-fuss electric sauna built in the old milk shed. Behind the house is Spring Hill, which protects the house from winter winds and affords fabulous sledding in the winter. Containing 7 bedrooms and 2 fireplaces, the farm is ideal for a memorable family vacation, reunion or summer wedding.

Take combined routes 30 east and 11 east out of Manchester. Where these routes split part way up into the mountains, take a right to stay on route 30. Proceed 2 miles past the access road to Stratton Mountain and turn left onto route 100 north. Then...at the 2-mile mark, turn left onto Spring Hill Road and take the first driveway on the left into the farm. Enjoy your stay.
From Brattleboro, Vermont:
Get off route 91 at exit 2 and take a left at the end of the ramp. Turn left onto Cedar Street and proceed until its end. Turn left again onto route 30 and proceed through Newfane, Townsend and Jamaica. At the town of Rawsonville, turn right onto route 100 north. Then...at the 2-mile mark, turn left onto Spring Hill Road and take the first driveway on the left into the farm. Enjoy your stay.
