The SKI HOME ON SUNRISE COVE on Lake Rescue in Ludlow, Vermont has lakeside fun & Winter skiing! This ski home is located on a paved road with early and easy access to skiing. Firewood is plentiful and the great room conducive to warming by the fire, relaxing and enjoying friends & family while viewing the beautiful Lake. Kitchen and bathrooms are newly accented with ceramic tile. Entire Cottage has been freshly painted with new windows and lovely first class updates. This beautifully and comfortably furnished retreat will become a family tradition. All who have been our guests have requested to return!
The master bedroom has private bathroom and lake views and queen size bed. Second bedroom has gorgeous lake views and double bed. Third bedroom boasts one twin bed and a set of bunk beds. Has a portable crib and changing table in closet. Fourth bedroom has daybed w/ pop-up trundle to use either as two twins or king size. Gorgeous deck with built-in benches equipped with propane grill, umbrella table & chair set, 2 teak Adirondack chairs and some beach chairs! Also a waterside fire ring and tons of split, dry firewood.
Great views of the lake from deck with built-in benches; leads to dock and boat mooring- featuring an excellent swimming area and sandy beach in the summer and gorgeous views in Winter.

Vacation at Lake Rescue, Vermont: The Ludlow & Okemo Valley Area has two distinctly different identities. During summer and fall it is very much identified with the string of lakes just north of the village, and as a marketplace for those residing in, or visiting, smaller neighboring communities. In winter, it is thought of as the home of Okemo Mountain Resort…period! Ludlow: The Ludlow Area [Okemo Valley] is precisely what today’s visitor to Vermont is looking for - a true four-season resort area! In winter, the centerpiece of the Okemo Valley is the Okemo Mountain Resort, and it's newly opened Jackson Gore Base Area. And, although Okemo’s slopes are the main attraction during the winter months, the area is also popular for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and horsedrawn sleigh rides. In short, there's not much one could want and not find here.
Skiing Information: Skiing in Vermont...this lovely cottage is located closest to Okemo Ski Resort ( 3 mi) but also within 12-20 mi of Killington, Bromley and other great ski locations! Located off Rte 100, access to a plowed, sanded road is easy and early! An exterior Ski locker is accessible to guests so the cottage stays in great shape. The cozy great room with fieldstone fireplace is a great spot to warm up with a good book and an apres ski toddy. Kids and adults can play the many games located at the cottage or go ice skating out the back door. Enjoy the ambiance of this winter escape while looking at gorgeous views of frozen Lake Rescue.
