Vacation Home at Lake Lure - Treetops: You have just entered the most beautiful and peaceful place nestled high in the North Carolina mountains. The home is perched in the trees above Lake Lure. The main floor has two master bedrooms and a great room, all with sliders leading to the large upper deck. Try to identify the birds that sing a symphony every morning. If you are up early enough you may see deer passing through the ravine far below. Have breakfast on the deck.
For comfortable and easy living, our home features two master bedrooms each with a full bath, walk in closet and sliders to the upper deck. A large very well equipped kitchen for simple meals or a festive feast. A laundry room and comfortable great room complete the main level. Want to catch up on email? Use the high speed DSL Internet line. To stretch out and relax, watch the satellite TV or listen to satellite radio. The lower level includes two twin bedrooms, a large family/game room, a full bath and sliders to the lower deck. Wildlife abounds in this woodland area. Bird watchers will appreciate the unique tree top vantage point from our home. If you are lucky you may get a sighting of the Pileated woodpecker.

Holiday at Lake Lure: From Treetops it is an easy walk to the resort recreation center. There you will find the newly expanded Spa and Fitness center featuring weekly classes in Yoga, Pilates, Step Aerobics and more. Within the center is a heated pool and hot tub. Across the street at the Trout Steam pool pavilion are the outdoor pool, a zero entry pool and a lazy river floating pool. This facility also has four tennis courts, a croquet court, miniature golf course, a basketball and volleyball court. At the beach you can swim in the lake or rent kayaks or a 20 foot pontoon boat.
The resort features 3 restaurants. The Lakeview Restaurant featuring upscale casual dining, Legends Bar and Grill at the 18th hole of the Bald Mountain Golf Course and Azalea' Restaurant at the Apple Valley Golf Course. There is also the opportunity take the specially equipped pontoon boat for an evening cruise and sunset dinner.
Golf at Lake Lure: There is not one, but two 18 hole championship golf courses in the resort. Bald Mountain Course features well guarded greens and tight fairways in a lovely mountain setting. 6283 yards of spectacular beauty, popular with players of all abilities. Apple Valley Course was called by Golf Digest "one of the most beautiful mountain courses around." 6756 yards of wide, undulating fairways and sloping greens. Golf clinics by PGA Golf Professionals are available.
