Holiday in Ixtapa - Zihuatanejo: Ixtapa Zihuatanejo are sister destinations located in the State of Guerrero Mexico on the Pacific Coast in the area known as the Mexican Rivera or Costa Grande. Both are serviced by the same Int. Airport and situated just 15 mins apart by car, bus or taxi. These two unique sister destinations share many complimentary facilities giving the visitor two destinations for the price of one.
Besides beaching it, there are numerous other activities for both the adventurous and the less energetic. If you like diving, snorkeling, fishing, sightseeing, hiking, sailing, water-skiing, swimming, surfing, bodysurfing, or simply watching nature's marvels then Zihuatanejo will enchant you. We have all this and more, including traditional vacation pastimes such as golf and tennis.

Beaches: Zihuatanejo's bay offers safe haven from storms and is a favorite for boating and all types of water sports. Contained within the bay are 5 main beaches: La Playa Principal (located in front of the town "Centro" itself), Playa La Madera (a 5-min walk from town), Playa La Ropa (5 mins from town by car, or about a 20-min walk. Wear comfortable shoes.), Playa Las Gatas (at the extreme southern end of the bay; accessible by water taxi from the pier, or via a footpath along the scenic coast from La Ropa. There is no road), Playa Contramar (at the northern end of the bay: accessible by boat or footpath. Not only do we have some of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico, but some of the most beautiful in the world!

Excursions in Ixtapa Bay, Guerrero: One excursion that you can take by yourself is to walk over to the lighthouse (El Faro) from Las Gatas Beach. If you walk down to the far end of the beach you'll find Owen's Beach Club. Just ask at the restaurant for directions and they'll show you the flagstone walkway leading to the lighthouse.
Another tour you can take by yourself is a trip to Petatlán, a colonial town south of here on the coastal highway about 40 minutes by car or bus. Petatlán is noted for its open-air gold market located in front of its beautiful majestic church. Truly an enchanting town lost in times of yore. Archaeological ruins are nearby, and several artifacts can be seen on display at various locations throughout the town. The Féria de Semana Santa (Easter week fair) is well worth the trip. The "Omnibus de Petatlán" busline located behind the restaurant "Jaiba Feliz" on Benito Juarez street in Zihuatanejo makes regular runs there and back all day & well into the evening.

Christmas, New Years and spring break weeks: $3,000 USD per week.
Any other time of the year: $300 USD per day or $2,000 USD per week.

Liliana is at your service every day of your stay. She will keep your beds made, will clean up the whole villa and, for a fraction of the cost, will even make tradional Mexican dinners at your request!
If you happen to run out of water in the watering station, let the domestic know! She will arrange to have it replaced... for only $1.70 USD.

* There are tennis racquets and balls in the villa for your usage, and plenty of beach towels. But if you do take a towel from the villa, please return it. Nothing worse then chasing down loose beach towels!
* There are 2 parking spaces provided for the villa on the downhill side. We ask you park there and not on the street (they are kind of narrow).
* We prefer that pets don't join you. If they must, please add $10 USD per day of your stay and please clean up after them.
* Please check in with the clubhouse to sign in, pay and receive your keys. Each room has it's own lock and you will be given a keyring. Also, don't forget to pick up an entry tag at the front gate for your vehicles! The clubhouse is open daily from 8:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and the restaurant is open from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
* We don't mind smoking, but we prefer that it be done out front or on the terrace.
