On Islandmagee itself you can go walking, swimming, cycling, horseback riding, kite flying, upsailing, rock climbing, bird watching & diving. There is a recognised PADI diving centre nearby. A Health Spa is on the island, & Boots & Bikes are 4 hire.

Holiday in Antrim, Northern Ireland: Seabreeze is an ideal base for sightseeing in the Glens of Antrim and along the coast road both north and south. The views are truely spectacular from the house, and you are close to all the key amenities, yet 'away from it all'. In the northern direction you will find Larne, Glenarm, Cushendall and Cushendull, Ballycastle with it’s Oul Lama’s Fair, the Carrick-A-Reed Rope Bridge and Ballintoy harbour as well as the Giant's Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, Whitehead, Portrush and Ballintoy Harbour. Starting early-ish you could see all this within a day.
Facing south you can visit Carrickfergus with its Norman castle; Newtownabbey, Glengormley and Jordanstown before coming to Belfast itself. In Belfast, you do not want to miss the City Hall, the castle, the Harland and Wolff shipyard where the Titanic was built; Stormont parliament buildings, Queen’s University, Botanic Gardens with the Lanyon designed Palm House, or the ‘golden mile’ leading from Shaftesbury Square to the city.

The Outside: Seabreeze enjoys beautiful sea views and unusual peace & quiet. There is garden furniture available to seat up to 8 people comfortably in and around the house and garden, and terraces and/or garden seating is possible all around the house facing every direction. The outside allows for bar-be-queuing from different angles to avoid the sometimes heavy sea breeze, and a mobile bar-be-queue unit was purchased for that reason. A large secluded garden next to the house completes the grounds with an unusually high level of privacy. Behind the garden, a little laneway leads to a fantastic viewing point for bird watching, painting and/or just sheer enjoyment of ‘mother nature’! A small tent can easily be pitched on this ground. There is plenty of space for children to play – and no traffic to be afraid of!

The local events calendar and guide books are available free of charge, as is 'live' tourist information: your host is a qualified tourist guide and can help you with your itinerary planning!

The rental rates for this property are quoted in GBP per property per week.

Prices include all linens, towels, heating oil and gas for open fire as well as the first 100 units of electricity (metered). Use of telephone and excessive electricity additional. Basic toiletries, use of dressing gowns, toys, games, DVDs, videos and CDs included. Dishwasher tablets and toilet papers as well as washing powder for start up included. There is a high chair for our smaller guests for whom we also cater with a cot. Older children will find puzzles, crayons and markers, and games and kites are available for all ages. Go on - be young again!

Children can go out to camp in the garden during summer months - we only charge £25 per additional person in a tent per week. For short term visitors a double sofabed is available in the living room (£10/person/night)
