Holiday at Galmpton, Devon: Surrounded by South Devon countryside and woodland, Barnacle Cottage is situated in a peaceful spot on the outskirts of the village of Galmpton within a short walk of the River Dart Creek. Galmpton borders Torbay and South Hams and the award winning Broadsands sandy beach is just over a mile. Galmpton offers a general/post office shop and the local pub and restaurant, The Manor Inn, is exactly a half a mile. The pretty village of Stoke Gabriel on the River Dart is 3 miles. From the village there is easy access to Greenway House (National Trust), once residence to Agatha Christie and a short walk from there to the ferry boat across the Dart to the pretty village of Dittisham. The medievel market town of Totnes is 6 miles.

Low Season - October to April.
Mid Season - Easter, Half Terms, May, June and September.
High Season - Whitsun Bank Holiday(end of May), July, August, Christmas and new Year.
A Ł100 deposit to confirm booking, the balance payable 8 weeks in advance of booking.
Weekly bookings run Friday to Friday. Arrivals from 2 pm and departures by 10 am or by special arrangement. Short breaks by arrangement usually during off peak season or last minute depending on availability.
Linen and towels are provided. Electricty is included.
