Green Gables is conveniently placed just a one minute walk from Windermere centre with shops, banks,restaurants and pubs. Visitors coming by train or express coach will find it convenient as it is only five minutes walk from the station or bus stop. Our guest house in Windermere has seven bedrooms, as follows: * 2 en-suite Doubles * 1 en-suite Family triple (can be used as a twin or double) * 1 en-suite Single * 2 Family triple rooms with private facilities (can be used as twin or double) * 1 family four (1 double, 2 singles) with private facilities (can be used as twin or double) * All our rooms have: Colour TV, Hair Dryers, Radio Alarms and Tea & Coffee making facilities . . . and we have a comfortable lounge bar on the ground floor where smoking is permitted. Notes: Guest house in Windermere, Cumbria - One of our en-suite bedrooms - situated at the front of the building on the first floor this bedroom not only contains a very comfortable double bed but also a single bed. This means that the room can be used as a twin or a small family room. A remote controlled colour TV is provided together with a kettle, tea and coffee for making your own drinks. A radio alarm is provided and in the bathroom a soap dispenser is provided over the handbasin and in the shower the dispenser doubles as shower gel and shampoo. Towels are, of course, provided for guests use for the duration of their stay.

Prices per person per night: £20 - £30 (depending on season and length of stay). Children's prices reduced depending on age. No charge for children under 4 years old. Half the adult tariff for children aged 4-11. Family room rate available on request. The price includes accommodation plus any board indicated. Unless clearly stated on the booking form all extras such as additional meals, telephone, drinks etc. are additional. For all bookings we require a deposit of £25 to confirm the booking. We can charge this to your credit/debit card or You can make payment by cheque which You must make sure reaches us within 3 days of making the booking. We will send you an email or letter confirming the booking. The balance is due on departure. We accept all major debit/credit cards but not American Express. No room can be considered booked until a deposit has been received and we are at liberty to relet the room at any time prior to this deposit being received. Your accommodation is available to you from 2.00pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. Please let us know if you plan to arrive after 8.00pm.
