Also closeby there is a sailing school so you can try your hand at sailing and other water sports. Also a short drive away there is horseriding, go-karting and bowling.

Holiday in Los Nietos: Los Nietos is a small village on the coast of the Mar Menor. The Mar Menor is a large salt water lagoon great for water sports and the warm tranquil waters are fantastic for young families. Within the village are a small selection of shops and restaurants. There is a market every sunday selling a good selection of meats, fruit and vegetables.

Costa Calilda: The Mar Menor averages water temperatures of around 30c in the summer so it is ideal for all types of water sports including scuba diving, water skiing, sailing and many more. The Mar Menor is also famous for The Black Mud which is said to help treat the symptoms of rheumatism, arthritis and many other ailments.
This region of Spain enjoys and average of 320 days of sunshine each year and because its one of the driest regions of Spain it makes a great spot for holidays in both winter and summer.This area is also host to the famous La Manga Club which boasts championship golf courses, tennis courts, spa facilities and many other activities.
