Holiday in Extremadura - holiday house in Badajoz - El Balcon de los Montes is a rural house situated in the region of La Siberia, old region of Los Montes, in the heart of the la Reserva Regional del Cíjara. Separated from the remaining villages of orography rural of the region, it is very beautiful and covered by forests and vegetation.
The holiday house has been constructed in the year of 1986, following the typical architecture of the zone. Restaurated in the year of 2000. It has a surface of 225 m˛. Our holiday house has 5 rooms and it has a capacity to accomodate 9 people. The rooms: 2 singles and 3 doubles. The double rooms have complete bathroom and the singles share a bathroom. Each of them has heating. The house has a roomy living room-dining room wich has a home-loving fireplace to have a rest beside the fire. Fully equipped kitchen. Besides it has: garden-terrace, exterior car park, green zones, firewood, swimming pool natural, bibliotheque, social salon, music equipment.
In Restaurant PUDA, our guests can taste all type of local healthy food, asmerinian sheep, iberian pig, farmyard eggs, products of the truck garden, slaughter and seasonal foodof the zone. The speciality of the house in the winter is the 'trabao' and in the summer 'ajo blanco'.
