Holiday in Sarroca de Bellera, Lérida: The region of Pallars Jussà is characterized by a mediterranean climate on the south part and continental on the northern part which grants differend landscapes with a great diversity of flora and fauna pirenaics. The highest peaks of the region have a height of more than 2.900 meters, as the Peguera or Saburó. The zone called the ‘Zona Alpina’ has more than 30 natural lakes which makes it one of the richest zones in lakes and rivers. Sarroca de Bellera – a small village of ‘payés’ of the Middle Ages, belonged to the region of Pallars Jussá, a total virgen zone. The village conserves the typical architecture of the zone of mountain villages, with porches and windoved balcony. A village with a lot of charm and not exploded for tourism. It has no interior circulation. It has approximately 50 inhabitants. An ideal place to enjoy the rest and the nature in its original condition, total tranquility.
