Welcome to Cervia de Ter, Girona: The village of Cervia de Ter, Girona is situated on the left side of Ter river, 45 m over the sea level. It has a mountainous part in the north and in the south you can find other beautiful village: Raset.
The roman archaeological remains were found in Raset some years ago take us to think that the Via Augusta was located there. The historical sources are placed at the Cervia's castle that was belong to the Counts of the village until 922 when the castle was sold to Borrell Count. The castle is situated on a strategic hill which let us to see the river, the village and nearer lands. Nowadays only some traces are left, among them we can see the foundations, some walls and remains of some rooms. The watch tower and the castle walls corroborate us the age of the village. There are some country houses (masias) of the 16th and 17th centuries as "Can Santamaria","Can Japic","Ca la Masoneta","El mas Roure" etc, some of them are situated in Raset where we can also find the Sant Cristòfol church.
