In the Spanish village La Puebla de Castro you will find a beautifully restored village house which offers 3 tasteful apartments (1st floor) and a hotel room. Apartment Esera (53 m2) has an authentic living room with modern kitchen. The living room has a balcony with beautiful views on the hills and mountain tops. Apartment Isßbena (63 m2) has a living room/kitchen with a sofa at the window which gives you a great view on the Pyrenees. There is an authentic cooker which was originally working with wood. There is also a modern cooking plate and a multi fuel boiler. From the balcony of one of the bedrooms you will have a view on the village. The owners lives in a separate part of the house dating from approx. 1850. The authentic details have been preserved as much as possible in the restoration and the casa is also equipped with modern comforts for a lovely holiday, with or without children. If you wish you could request child care from the owners who will also gladly help you with the planning of walking and cycling trips. They can also provide you freshly baked croissants and 'caracolas con pasas' for breakfast that you can enjoy in your own apartment, in the communal breakfast room or on the sunny roof terrace! In the immediate proximity you can go walking, climbing, rafting, canoeing, cycling, mountainbiking, swimming, canyoning and lots more. North of La Puebla de Castro at approx. 60 km distance you will find two national parks: 'Parc Nacional de Ordessa y Monteperdido' and 'Parc Nacional D’aigües Tortes I Sant Maurici'. The lake Lago Barasona is 4 km away and offers all types of water leisure activities. In the South there is Zaragoza (160 km), the capital of the Aragón region, with various museums and an airport. Barcelona is eastwards. The region offers enough possibilities for children like nature discovery, play gardens, swimming in one of the lakes, etc.
For the true walking enthusiasts there are attractive and challenging trips you can go on from La Puebla de Castro. There are two shops, a bar, a swimming pool, a tennis court and a playground in the village. The house has internet access and pets are welcome.
