Farmhouse with Pool on Fuerteventura, Canary Islands - The farmhouse TAMASITE is situated in Tuineje, in the centre of the island, right in the old part of the village. The Tamasite farmhouse, more than 200 hundred years old, consists of four different houses within a 1000 m2 property.
The AJUI house is situated where the formely stables were, its wood ceilings are completely restored. It is provided with kitchen, dining room, bathroom and bedroom and it is adapted for disabled.
The TETIR house is provided with kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room. At the beginning of last century this house was one of the typicallocal shops and later was a local bar.
The TOTO house, provided with kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, is situated on the ground floor ofthe two floor villa, whichuntil the beginning ofthe18th century was a saddle roof house.
The AMANAY house, provided with kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, is situated on the first floor, which was built at the end of 18th century. Here, we can appreciate its ceilings made of "tarahal" splinters, an autoctonous plant.
Out side, the wide patios are dressed with the old farmers tools and with the native flora from Fuerteventura such as the "retama', autoctonous plant protected by the island's Council, "Cabildo".
One of the outstanding aspects of the villa lies in its ceramic and its antique furniture, more than 100 years old and completely restored.
