Holiday in Sandinies, Aragon: Sandinies, at the altitude of 1.300 meters, is a small village situated at the viewpoint of the valley. From the old livestock farmer tradition its old centre is very well conserved and attended with beautiful corners and ancestral homes which flaunt in eye-catching coats of arms.
Situated in the Valle de Tena, which extends along the course of the river Gállego, is a territory closed by high peaks, what has benn given to it a caracter very peculiar through the history: its lenguage, the "Tensino" is the last trace of their different identity from other neighbour valleys.

Activities: Taking Sandiniés as a starting point you can develope a lot of activities: bycicle riding, horse riding, hill-walking, riding a quad, take a walk with rackets, skiing in Panticosa and Formigal or practice cross-country skiing in La Partacua. You can visit "Lacuniacha" too, the Faunistic Park of the Pirineos. Lacuniacha is a natural park, a forest, where the entertainment comes from itself, from its flora and fauna and where the visitor is not only a member of the audience, but a real actor of his own tour in open air, in the full forest, the center of the Valle de Tena. The park offers to the visitor a tour of 2 or 3 hours, without harm or damage of spend all the day, so you can have a stop at the areas pic-nic. The route through the paths allows walking amongst deers, fallow deers and reindeers. So the path guides the visitor to the precints of the "caprino"s, occupated by the mountain goat, or to other precints where you can observe european buffalos, boreal lynxes, wolves and horses Przewalski…
