Farmhouse in Alpujarra, Sierra Nevada: Farmhouse with pool in Bayacas, Alpujarra, Andalucia - 'El Bancal' is a small complex owned by a Spanish family. It is very private and set in a lovely valley on the edge of the village of Bayacas, which has a history going back to when the Moors were in the South of Spain. This small complex consists of three beautiful casitas i.e. apartments. All at ground level with their own separate patio areas. The gardens are very relaxing, with flowers, plants and various fruit trees. On the roof terrace there is a small swimming pool, laundry room with washing machine and iron, and shower rooms with toilets. El Bancal is totally enclosed with private gardens, there is a small swimming pool on the roof terrace and a larger pool which is available in the summer months, both with lovely veiws of the mountains and surrounding countryside. There are private patios for each casita, barbecues and garden furniture. The garden is safe for children, and there is enclosed private parking.

Bayacas is a small village set in a valley at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It is only 40 minutes from the Costa Tropical, where there are lovely beaches and recreation areas. 'El Bancal' and Bayacas are 10 minutes drive from the small market town of Orgiva. Orgiva itself has all facilities such as banks, shops, restaurants and cafes.
