Holiday apartment in Iznajar, Fuente del Conde - This apartment provides guests with a peaceful and tranquil setting to relax and unwind whilst taking in the magnificent and breathtaking views of rural Andalucia.
The view stretches off to the Subbetica Natural Park and two of its peaks. At nights you'll have clear uninterrupted views of the immense night skies. It's an idyllic setting and leaves guests wishing they could stay for longer. The apartment has a large private roof terrace with shady pergola and is stylishly furnished with your comfort in mind.
There is a second apartment available with its own private walled patio, both flats have b.b.q's so you can either relax by the pool or entertain yourself in seclusion.
There is also a private 10m by 5m pool for the use of our guests. Surrounded by a terrace with plenty of sunloungers and patio furniture making it the perfect place to enjoy the warmth of the Andalucian sunshine.
The local village of Fuente del Conde isjust 5 miniutes away. It has a lively bar/restaurant with a great terrace giving fantastic views of the Andalucian sunsets. The village also has a small well-stocked supermarket. The village fiesta takes place each year on 1st, 2nd and 3rd May when there's plenty of activities including a clay pigeon shooting competition, horse-riding, free paella and lots of dancing til dawn.

This area of inland Andalucia is ideal for exploring all the major cultural destinations. Granada, Cordoba, Seville, Ronda, Antequera, Malaga and the Costa del Sol are all close enough for day trips. A new motorway means that Cordoba is now just an hour and a half away, Seville is just under 2 hours away, Ronda about 2 hours away, and the other destinations within an hour. The ski slopes at the Sierra Nevadas are just an hour and a half away.
Antequera is the closest city (half an hour) and has many attractions to visit. It also has hypermarkets, large supermarkets and a large cinema complex. El Torcal, a natural park with limestone formations just less than 30 minutes from Antequera, is an ideal place for walking.

Notes: Consisting of a bedroom with double bed or twin beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers, a fully tiled shower room and a lounge/kitchen which is equipped with most essential items. One apartment has a roof terrace facing the mountains and a second terrace at the front to catch the late evening sunshine and the second apartment has a large terrace also taking in the magnificent views.
Terraces are equipped with table, chairs, BBQ, sunloungers and parasols. The roof terrace also has a bamboo covered shaded area.

Leisure Activities in Iznajar Area: Rute is 20 minutes away and is the home of Anis production, the aniseed liquor. There's a museum dedictated to its manufacture. Rute has a large supermarket with plenty of parking.
The baroque town of Priego de Cordoba set in the Subbetica Natural Park is just an hour away and has many places to explore, including the castle, 16 or so churches and lots of good restaurants and bars.
The Via Verde is a converted train track, originally used to collect olives by train throughout the region until the Sixties, which is now used ostensibly as a cycle route. In total, the Via Verde, is 56 km long and is great for walking as well as cycling. From this route the towns of Cabra, Zuheros, Lucena and Luque in the Subbetica can easily be explored. It crosses several magnificent viaducts, old iron bridges and passes through a tunnel. It's great way of exploring the Subbetica and enjoying the countryside.
The area is great for walking and you just need to pull on your boots and head off. Most farmland is accessible and provides all types of walking from gentle to challenging. A local walking clubs meets once a month for a guided walk. The right hand peak, La Tinosa, in the view from the apartment is a steep ascent but well worth the worth the effort.
Horse-riding stables are jst 15 minutes away and it's possible to go for an hour, a half day or a full day's riding. All ages and abilities can be catered for.
