Our villa in Quesada is only 2 minutes from La Marquesa Golf and Country Club, and 10 minutes from fabulous Guardamar beach.

Holiday in Quesada: Cuidad Quesada, surrounded by orange and lemon groves, is situated 35 minutes south of Alicante airport and 30 minutes north of Murcia airport (San Javier), providing a wide choice of flights from the low-cost airlines operating to both these airports. Quesada Main Street is five minutes from the villa and boasts a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, banks etc. There are also tennis courts, a Bowls Club, and a small water park. We are on the edge of Rojales, which offers further choices of restaurants, shops and other facilities. The Blue Flag beach at Guardamar del Segura is only 4 miles from the villa, and consists of miles of golden sand bordered, for a large part of its length, by sand dunes and pines. The promenade has many restaurants overlooking the sea, and water sports of all kinds are available. Bustling Torrevieja is 20 minutes away, as are La Mata nature reserve and the salt lakes, complete with flocks of pink flamingos.

Golfers' paradise - All year round!: What an ideal location for a golfing holiday! The following is a description of La Marquesa Golf and Country Club, literally two minutes down the road: “It is located in a flat valley between mountains, and the layout of the round alternates between long holes and short ones. It is not excessively difficult and so players of all levels will enjoy it. The round is bordered by streams and lakes, which gives the course excellent views and provides beautiful natural surroundings to play in. The better players might find it a bit too easy, but the majority will find it very pleasant and will enjoy the excellent walk in a magnificent part of the country. The varied and pleasant round is lined with pines and palm trees. A wonderful location offering a very pleasant temperature both in summer and in winter.” Other excellent courses at La Finca, Villamartin, Campoamor, and Las Ramblas are all within a twenty minute drive.

Holiday in Costa Blanca region: Costa Blanca, literally the ‘White Coast’ is so named because of its many fine white sandy beaches - many, including nearby, Guardamar, flying the Blue Flag. An average of 320 days sunshine and average temperatures of 15ºC in winter and 25ºC in summer make this an ideal all year round holiday destination. Due to the health giving properties of the salt lakes combined with the climate, the World Health Organisation rates this particular section of the Costa Blanca one of the healthiest places in the world to live. You will no doubt want to spend time relaxing around the villa and pool but, although not essential, hiring a car for at least part of your stay will enable you to appreciate even more what a lovely part of Spain this is and how much there is to see and do. We can obtain discounts for you on car hire - details on request.

The rental rates for this property are quoted in GBP per property per week.

The above weekly rentals are well below the market rate for a villa of this quality and position. These rates may change at any time, but bookings already accepted will not be affected. From June to September rentals normally start on a Saturday but flexibility is possible at other times of the year. We shall arrange for you to be met with the keys to the villa, and shown where everything is and how it works. Rental rates include normal reasonable usage of air-conditioning, and the only additional charge is €35 per week (approx £25) for cleaning and laundry, which is payable on arrival. For parties of three or four the charge is €50 to reflect the additional laundry involved. Please bring your own towels for the pool or beach. No pets are allowed and we must also ask that you please respect the fact that we have a strictly no smoking policy.

If you need baby equipment, such as a cot, highchair etc., or even a selection of toys, the hire of these can be arranged in advance, for delivery to the villa on the day you arrive. A small welcome pack of essential supplies can also be ordered if required, and will be awaiting your arrival. Discounts on car hire available.

An initial non-refundable deposit of £100 will secure your booking, with the balance being due 8 weeks before the start of your holiday, together with a security deposit of £100 which will be returned within one week of your return, subject to return of keys and there being no damage, excess cleaning, or unacceptably high usage of electricity reported by our manager. We feel apologetic about asking for this security deposit but it is common practice, and the only protection we have against other owners’ experiences of mis-treatment of their properties, or air-conditioning being left on all day when the villa is empty. To date we have always been able to refund this deposit in full, and we trust that this will continue to be the case. Charges apply for cancellations within eight weeks of the start of a holiday but should be covered by your travel insurance.
