Holiday in Las Ramblas, Torrevieja: The beautiful area of Las Ramblas is know as a golfer's paradise but it is also a fabulous retreat for all. It is noted for its fabulous climate and even in December the temperature rarely drops below 15 degrees. The Mar Menor is 20 mins away, Murcia and Alicante airports about 30 mins. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, the beaches are clean and sandy and less than a 10 minute drive away.
Beaches: There are three Blue Flag beaches only minutes away by car. Cabo Roig, La Zenia and Campoamor. Due to the wonderful climate all year round the Costa Blanca enjoys over 320 days of sunshine annually. Other beaches include Las Palmeras, Torrevieja and Torre de la Horadada. Most watersports can be found in the area.
Golf in Las Ramblas: The villa is ideally situated for those who enjoy a round of golf. The Las Ramblas clubhouse is about 400 metres from the villa. Las Ramblas is a challenging 18-hole course with incredible water features (take plenty of balls with you). Only 3km away is the famous Villamartin championship golf course which hosted the Spanish Open in 2000. The course is not too long and is well adapted to the natural surroundings and terrain. The beautiful course of Campoamor complete with palatial facilities, including 5 star hotel is located at the entrance to Las Ramblas. This 18-hole course is set in two valleys and has wonderful views. All three courses are very different but each offers a touch of sophistication associated with Southern Spain.
