Villa with pool in Moraira, Costa Blanca - Casa Taylor is located on the hillside just outside of Moraira, an old fishing village which through careful and tasteful development has slowly evolved into a small, charming resort on the Costa Blanca in Spain.
Our villa in Moraira has two Double Bedrooms - both with Air-conditioning. The Master Bedroom (16' x 11') has a large en-suite bathroom and there is also a shower room next to the second bedroom - both were completely refurbished in 2004.
The upstairs consists of a fitted kitchen, a through lounge / dining room which leads out onto a large balcony furnished with table and chairs for dining al-fresco and a beautiful view across the valley.
Downstairs, in addition to the two Bedrooms and Bathrooms, there is a utility room with a washing machine and from the Master Bedroom there is access to our large terrace and landscaped garden where we also have a built in BBQ with a permanent table and seats.
Amongst the many and varied mediterranean plants in the garden is a lemon tree from which you can pick probably the largest lemon's you've ever seen and should be used for your evening's Gin & Tonic apperitiv! From the terrace there is also access to the large walk-in communal swimming pool.
Casa Taylor has superb views across the valley.

Holiday in Moraira, Costa Blanca: Although Moraira has grown from an old fishing village it still retains much of it’s charm due to careful planning - there are few hotels as the town predominantly serves a ‘Villa’ population that now covers both sides of the valley.
There are two safe sandy beaches, the second being in El Portet which is just 1.5 kms from Moraira and although lacking facilities is absolutely beautiful and where the properties on the hill are the most expensive. A marina has been developed alongside the fishing port in Moraira which, incidentally acts as home for the healthiest feral cat population you will ever see. Apart from the fabulous scenery the other major attraction is the proliferation of superb restaurants in and around Moraira.
Within a 15-30 minutes drive there are a number of other towns that are worth visiting.
Places of interest: JAVEA / Xabia (El Arenal) – like Moraira it is aimed at the independent holiday maker but on a larger scale, it has a magnificent beach with numerous bars, restaurants and shops, it is particularly worth visiting at night when many local artists show off their wares and there is a long promenade on which to stroll and enjoy the warm evenings. There is also ‘Montgo’ a real mountain that dominates the hills around and supposedly can be walked up in a few hours but not for the feint hearted in their scholl sandals !! Further along the coast is Javea town centre which has several excellent shops and in the centre a futuristic church totally out of keeping with the surrounding area.
CALPE – totally opposite to Moraira and Javea with towering hotels but has the bonus of the magnificent Calpe Rock which towers over the two large sandy beaches and can be seen clearly from miles away.
BENIDORM – Love it or hate it, this famous resort is just a 30 minute drive away.
Golf on the Costa Blanca: Don Cayo:near Altea, best 9 hole in area - set in the hills with lovely views but very challenging.
Ifach - on Calpe road 3kms from Moraira.
Javea - 10 min drive: Two tee positions provide 18 holes, lovely scenery and more challenging that it appears.
