Excellent villa in Calpe with swimming pool, near the beach 110058 - Located in a quiet residential area, 500 m from the centre of Calpe, this recently built villa (2006) offers all amenities required for a comfortable holiday. It is 500 m from a sandy beach, as well as from a supermarket. Post office and chemist are 1 km distant.
Implanted in a fenced plot of 1000 m˛, it has 160 m˛ living area Carefully and tastefully furnished, it consists of living room with satellite TV, open fireplace and dining area, 1 double room and 2 twin rooms, 1 bathroom, 1 shower room and a fully equipped kitchen. Outside, a nice porch overlooks the private swimming pool (8x4 m) surrounded by a terrace with pool furniture and by a garden.
There is also portable BBQ and garage.
No pets allowed.
Bed linen and towels included in price (pool/beach towels not included).
Breakage deposit on arrival: EUR 300.
Between May and September, changeover day is Saturday. Rest of the year flexible.

Holiday in Calpe: Calpe is a friendly fishing village which sits close to the Rock of Ifach on a hill rising up from the last spurs of the sierra Bernia in the middle of Spain's Costa Blanca, a geographical marvel that provides access to the northernmost towns of Alicante's Marina district. It is an authentic tourist site, with a coastline boasting sandy beaches, cliff faces in some areas and an ancient salt mine, which all give the town a peculiar flavour of its own. Calpe is overlooked by the towering Penon de Ifach which juts out into the sea and rises to over 1000 ft.
In contrast to the larger commercialised resorts, the village of Calpe with its narrow winding streets, traditional Spanish architecture and street markets generates an atmosphere of friendship and relaxation, a village where after only a few days you seem to know and greet everyone.
Calpe is a place of daring contrasts, where modern buildings and wide avenues harmonize with an ancient fishing village, where locals are proud of their past, yet welcome tourists and visitors with warm - hearted hospitality.
Calpe's fishing port comes alive with hustle and bustle as the afternoon fish auction draws near. Restaurant terraces fill up with lively crowds anxious to try some of the fresh local shellfish. The town centre preserves the remains of a small fort from the 16th century, called the Torreon de la Peca. There is also a Gothic-style parochial church worth visiting, with Mudejar additions. From the chapels of Cometa and Salvador there is an attractive view.

Accesses:
Exits 63 and 64 off of the A-7 main road lead to Calpe. The N-332 Valencia - Alicante also connects with the municipality. The population relies on a railway service, which follows the coast, and regular bus service.
Costa Blanca: The Costa Blanca is situated on the east coast of Spain, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Beautiful rocky coves and long sandy beaches are both typical of this stretch of the coast, which runs north-south through the provinces of Valencia and Alicante. Not far inland, rugged mountains rise and provide an impressive backdrop to the coastal landscape.
The Costa Blanca enjoys a milder climate than southern Spain, and even at the height of summer temperatures rarely reach 35şC. Good weather in summer is almost guaranteed as rain in this season is infrequent. It is a fertile land, and orange and almond groves are a common sight.
