    Townhouse at Monte y Mar, Gran Alacant on Costa Blanca, Spain – for those who want a relaxing beach/pool holiday close by the smaller seaside resort of Las Arenales; shops, cafes, bars etc within walking distance with attractions of larger resorts (Alicante, Santa Pola) nearby.
    Located on a recent development, just 10 minutes from large resort of Santa Pola. 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom duplex house that comfortably sleeps up to six persons. Features include:
    * finished in typically Spanish style, with accommodation on two floors, with front patio/porch area, tiled patio/front terrace, and internal stairs to the full sun terrace on the house roof.

    Notes: This superbly located and comfortably furnished house is cleaned and maintained by a locally-resident English couple.
    As a holiday house, it is also our family holiday home, and is therefore fitted-out and equipped to a very high standard - with attention to detail and with the aim to make your stay as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible.
    You will therefore find the kitchen well-equipped, with full cooker & extractor, fridge/freezer and washing m/c, ample crockery, cutlery and glasses, inc. plastic as suitable for small children and for use by the pool. There is also a coolbox & ice-packs for picnics at the beach, comfortable cushioned patio furniture, lounge and bedside carpets, table lamps, selections of videos/DVDs/CDs, and books & games for relaxing in the evening.
    The two bathrooms are reasonably-sized, and if the double sofabed in the lounge is used for sleeping when up to six persons are staying, then there is easy access to the downstairs bathroom.

    Beaches, Mountains, Golf, Watersports: Easy driving to nearby coastal beach resorts - at La Marina, Guardamar toward Torrevieja (south, 1 hour away), at San Juan and El Campello and inland to the mountains behind Benidorm (north, also 1 hour away).
    Visit www.playgolfinspain.com for details of locations and green fees of golf courses around the Costa Blanca area - there are many courses within 30 minutes of the house.

    Specific attractions: Details of specific attractions, with local maps and guides, are kept at the house for use by guests.
    Among recommended places to visit include:
    * The church, monastery and hill-village at Guadalest (between Benidorm and Alcoy)
    * Terra Mitica and Terra Natura theme parks, nr. Villajoyosa/Benidorm
    * The Aqualand Water Park nr. Benidorm
    * The Safari Park at Elche
    * The Date Palm Museum and Park at Elche

    Places to visit - further away: Further coastal resorts above Benidorm at Altea, Javea, Denia, and Gandia
    Historic towns of Elche, Murcia and Cartagena to the south, and Valencia to the north are within a two hour drive.
    As a whole-day visit, then a trip to Granada for the Alhambra is also possible, taking the motorway A7-E15 south.

    Apr - Jun: £275 - £350 per week.
    Jul - Sep: £400 - £450 per week.

    The rental price is per property, and is inclusive of all utilities, services etc.
    Changeover day is normally Saturday; however, additional days may be added-on at a daily pro-rata rate according to season and availability in order to accommodate your travel plans. Please EMail to discuss.
    The property is also available for short-breaks and for extended lets, according to season, on request. Please EMail for details.

    Terms and conditions will be specified when booking, and are available on request at any time.
    A refundable deposit of £200 per booking to cover breakages is payable with the final balance, six weeks prior to departure.
    We strongly recommend you take out travel insurance at the time of booking to cover for any eventualities. Refunds are only permitted where we can re-sell the period of accommodation booked.

    The house rental comes complete with bed linen, household towels, a full cleaning service, and comprehensive Welcome Pack of provisions.
    Additional cleaning services (daily, twice weekly, weekly) are available - payable locally.
    English-speaking local residents who look after the property also have spare keys.
