Casas Valleparaízo are composed of eight lodges, charmingly inserted in an idyllic atmosphere full of fruit trees, flowers and animals, and located at Vale Paraíso, in Camacha Village.
These rural tourism gemstones promise a pleasant experience of privacy and quietness, an escape from labour turmoil and everyday life to all nature lovers.
For those who covet a fruitful family journey, the lodges offer all sorts of fun for the whole family, with its pretty gardens and farm animals, which will undoubtedly be a source of entertainment for the children. Casas Valleparaízo invite the whole family to experience the authenticity of country life in an environment surrounded by orchards, gardens, birds and farm animals, and we remind our guests that pets are allowed.
In a general way, all lodges are equipped with a hair dryer, lantern, refrigerator, microwave oven, electric cooker (Eira, Palheirinho, Levadinha and Campo), gas-stove (Alho, Vaquinha, Pinhas and Maçã), kettle, toaster, individual beds, bath tub and shower, electrical towel-rack, electric heating in rooms and living-rooms, and the Lodges also offer delightful gardens, furnished with a table, chairs and chaise-longues for the leisure moments.
The wood for the fireplace is already available to our guests and could be paid for directly in the cottage. To our visiting guest families, a crib and a babies’ high chair is made available and we also provide babysitting services.
Our guests can also count on our cleaning service twice a week, the towel change twice a week and the bed linen changing once a week.
The names of Casas are a heritage of times gone by since they portray, in a general way, the function the houses were to have when they were built and thus we are presented with names such as Casa do Alho (Garlick Cottage), Casa da Vaquinha (The Little Cow’s Cottage), Casa da Levadinha (Little Levada Cottage), Casa de Campo (Country Cottage), Casa das Pinhas (Pine-cones Cottage), Casa da Eira (Threshing-floor Cottage), Casa da Maçã (Apple Cottage) and Palheirinho Straw Loft Cottage).
