You're spoilt for choice with so many great seafood or traditional Portuguese cuisine restaurants just a few minutes walk from the house (and the beach!), where you can relax and enjoy life... with a nice glass of wine! It won't cost you an arm and a leg either, so you can try a different one each night.

Mountain Bike Hire: We offer four mountain bikes for hire right here at the cottages, so you don't need to look elsewhere for this service. They are all very good quality and are maintained to the highest standards. You can ride these bikes around town or, if you wish, go and explore the hill sides or do some off-road riding. When you take them out, we'll provide a simple tool kit and a spare inner tube to avoid you having to walk home in the unlikely event of a puncture! All the bikes are also fitted with water bottles for you to refresh yourself en route. Please contact us for further details.

Beaches: The Local beaches are Fantastic, Praia das Macas beach is only 5 mins walk from the cottage and has golden sands. Other local beaches of Praia Grande and Praia Pequeno are 5 mins in a car or 20 mins walk across the headland, a beautiful walk! They both have miles of golden sand.

Golf: Golf is available at several places less than half an hour driving distance such as the internationally aclaimed Penha Longa, Quinta da Beloura, and Quinta da Marinha courses. There are several courses around Sintra, of 6, 9 and 18 holes and these have been designed by aclaimed landscape designers. All levels of difficulty are present, up to the highest International competition level. The climate in this region alows for golfing to be available all year round.

The rental rates for this property are quoted in GBP per property per week.

Easter week, Christmas break and New Year are charged at £425 per week in 2007.
We request a minimum 20% deposit to confirm bookings. You are welcome to pay more or even the full amount if this makes it easier for you to manage your holiday plan. The remaining balance and the security deposit are due 8 weeks before the start of your holiday. The security deposit will be refunded to you when we get our keys back.

Cancellation refunds:
Up to 8 weeks – administration charge of £35.
4-8 weeks - 50% of rate refunded minus the administration charge.
2-4 weeks - 25% of rate refunded minus the administration charge.
Less than 2 weeks - no refund.

Arrival and departure times: You are expected to arrive no earlier than 4pm on the designated arrival day. You are expected to leave by no later than 10 am on the departure day. Electricity, gas and water are included in the rental rate. We reserve the right to charge for these in the event of abnormal expenditure.
