Townhouse in Sao Martinho do Porto, near Obidos - Located in the old town of Sao Martinho do Porto the house is well positioned for everything. This is a renovated little townhouse, the accommodation sleeps 6/7 although to enjoy the space to its best the house would suit smaller families or couples. It's a traditional built stonehouse so is wonderfully cool in the summer and a wood burning stove provides comfort in the winter months. The accomodation: master bedroom with kingsize bed, wardrobe, bedsides and french windows to the front of the house. Single bedroom with wardrobe. Large room with doublebed, single bed and comfy chairs. Views to the balcony and little town church. Beautiful tiled bathroom with shower and bath. the kitchen is fitted to a high standard with cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and lots of work tops! Utility room with washing machine. An open plan living eating area with leather sofa, light oak furniture and wood burning stove, table and six chairs. A sofa bed provides extra sleeping and seating if required. A balcony with table and chairs along with a barbecue provide a place to eat outside.

Sao Martinho do Porto is well equipped with banks, a medical centre, vets, shops and restaurants, along with its fresh daily food market. A water park at Nazare, a dinosaur trail and historic caves that you can walk through are all located within a short distance of the town.

The safe beach at Sao Martinho do Porto is five minutes walking, and the beach at Nazare with its water sports is a 10 minute drive. Foz do Arelho has a fantastic beach good for windsurfing. The golf resort at Praia del Rey is approximately 30 minutes by car.
Travel information: Lisbon is the nearest airport just 55 minutes by car on the A8. Monarch fly Gatwick to Lisbon, Easyjet fly from Luton to Lisbon, along with Tap airlines. Oporto airport is a 3 hour motorway drive, Ryanair fly from Stansted to here. Faro airport is 4 hours by motorway.
Places to visit: The medieval town of Obidos is a 15 minute car journey. Caldas da Rainha is a larger town for shopping 10 minutes by car. Cascais and Estoril with its casino are 45 minutes by car. The palace at Sintra is also about 45 minutes by car.

Towels and linen are included and the property is cleaned each week. Arrival not before 4pm and house must be vacated by 10am on day of departure.
