Swim in the heated 10x5mtrs pool under the palm trees with the relaxing sound of the trickling fountain from the magnificent rock feature. Or, feast from the BBQ under the north pergola on the terrace around a large pine table. Simply step out of the kitchen and breakfast outside on the terrace in complete privacy.

Notes: Although we welcome children, this is not particularly a child friendly garden, and no responsibility will be accepted by the owner for accidents. However, cots and high chairs can be organised by prior arrangement. Pool heating and air conditioning is at an extra cost of £50 per week, respectively.
Normal towels and linen are supplied. (Please bring your own beach and pool towels). Towels are changed Mondays & Wednesdays each week and bedding changed once a week. The main cleaning day is Saturday.
Welcome packs include, Milk, bread, butter, tea bags, coffee, bottle of water, soap, toilet rolls and a bottle of wine and eggs fresh from our chickens. These packs can be requested at a cost of £25 in advance for those arriving after the shops have shut.

Holiday in Franqueira, Silves region: Franqueira is situated between Silves & St B. Messimes, Silves, with its Medieval castle and Gothic Cathedral thought to have been built in the 13th / 14th century, it remains proud of its heritage and was once the Moorish capital of the Algarve. A market town in the heart of the citrus growing area, buy fresh oranges from the roadside traders and experience wonderful fresh oranges direct from the trees. Olive picking is in October. Fabrica do Ingles once processing cork, you can buy cork handbags, waistcoats and accessories to name a few, or stroll around the area now converted from the cork factory into a very attractive complex of restaurants, bars and where local visitors gather in the cobbled square for morning coffees. The Algarve has some beautiful lakes, formed by damming the once mighty rivers, the nearest is The Barragem do Arade just 3 miles away. A short distance past the dam is a restaurant where boats can be hired to explore the lake.
Coast / Beach & Local Attractions: Coast / Beach & Local Attractions Carvoeiro, Senhora da Rocha & Armacao are all fishing villages with amply restaurants offering wonderful Portuguese fish dishes brought from the fishing boats each day. Both Carvoeiro and Armacao are small towns with many nightclubs, bars, ample restaurants, shops and banks, the fashionable Algarve Shopping Mall can be found in Gale (15 minutes away) and is open till 11.00pm. Local attractions such as golf, tennis, beaches, horse riding, gym, and beauty/massage many good restaurants, zoo marine, slide & splash. Drive for 30 minutes and you could be in the Monchique mountains, on a west coast surfing beach or on the most westerly tip of Europe, Cape St Vincent.
Golf Information: Golfers are spoilt for choice. This is Europe's foremost golfing destination. At the last count there were 21 golf complexes. The nearest ones being Pinta an 18 hole course and Vale de Milho's 9 hole course. Golf of Morgado a championship golf course which lies on the lower slopes of the Monchique Mountains.
