Villa in Silves, Algarve: Moorish style villa near Silves, Central Algarve with pool - Fig Tree House is a privately owned, beautiful, spacious and attractive countryside Moorish style villa with a 50sqm swimming pool. Set in the scenic location of Fazenda Caravela, Freguesia de Alcantarilha, the villa is surrounded by orange and lemon groves and is on a hill with panoramic views to the coast and mountains. The villa sleeps 6 and consists of 2 large double bedrooms (the master bedroom is en-suite) and 1 bedroom with twin singles. All bedrooms have French windows into the gardens with Jasmine, Oleanders and other fragrant plants. A fantastic location for wildlife, with Owls, Hoppies, Geckos, Lizards etc. There is a large 50sqm swimming pool with Roman steps to pool floor. Pool side furniture including sun beds, reclining chairs and a poolside BBQ. The Villa has panoramic views to the coast and to the mountains.

Information about the Villa in Silves, Algarve
Coast - Beach: Armacao de Pera is the nearest coastal resort with beautiful beaches. It is just a 15 mins car drive away and there are bars, restaurants and shops. Boat hire for caves and grottos can be arranged here. There is also a local weekly market. The Pria Grande beach and nature reserve is in between Armacao de Pera and Gale. It has a beautiful long stretch of unspoilt coastline. With a natural lagoon and marshes, it is an ideal spot to watch Flamingos and other water- fowl. Golf: Nearest local Golf course is just out side Silves and several others are approximately a 10 and 15 minute car drive at, Gale and Caroeiro. Vilamora courses are a 30 minute car dive away. The newly created "Amendoeira” two - 18 hole Golf course development, designed by Nick Faldo and Christy O’Connor, is on our door step in the valley below us and is due to open in early 2008. Monchique Mountain Range: The stunning Monchique mountain range is an attractive scenic drive though Cork and Eucalyptus forest. It is a one hour drive to the summit.

Notes to the Rates of the Villa in Silves, Algarve
Additional Rates Continued: Christmas, New Year 2007/08 £750 and Easter 2008: £650 per week. Winter 2007/08 at £490 per week ot £70 per day. Bookings are accepted by telephone, post or email. Payments should be made to Mr T.D. Whyte by cheque. A booking is confirmed and secured subject to receipt of a non-refundable 30% deposit and confirmation of travel arrangements/flight details. The remaining balance would be due 6 weeks prior to holiday commencement. Rental periods run Thursday to Thursday. Occupancy commences from 2pm and vacated by 10am. Rental period out side these periods may be accommodated subject to availability. Costing will be calculated based on daily rates of each weekly tariff requested. Cleaning and ground maintenance is provided by the owners. In this rural location some find this reasuring.The domestic service is provided twice weekly.
