There is excellent rambling, cycling, tennis and golf nearby and canoeing and sailing an hour away by car.

Holiday in Todi, Umbria: Nearby Montecastello is a fascinating medieval walled town and has a gem of a living theatre, nearly 200 years old, supposedly the smallest in the world with only 99 seats. There is a summer festival of music and drama, and an art school; and the whole area is an artist’s paradise. Towns close by and full of interest include Todi, Perugia, Assisi, Spoleto, Massa Martana, Orvieto and Montefalco (the latter with their famous vineyards.)
Area for children: This is a small working farm with swings, tree house. A word with the caretaker and she will take the children to collect eggs or pick tomatoes. There is lots of room to run free and the two small pools are full of interest for the budding naturalist. The pool has a 14 metre straight lane for serious swimmers who need to practice their kick turns!
Food: Sample the local delights, porcini mushrooms, truffles and the local wines (Montefalco and Orvieto to name a couple). There are many good restaurants nearby to enjoy the local cuisine and the staff can help you find these. A cook can be arranged with good notice.

Deposit of a third of rent is required which will be returned within 3 weeks of the end if there are no breakages. The villa will be cleaned twice per week apart from the final clean. Linen will be changed on Saturday if the villa is rented for a second week or more.
