The apartment (85 m˛) is part of a modern complex composed of 50 apartments built on a mountain side, 150 metres above Lake Lugano, on the Italian-Swiss border. The complex is built on terraces and this spacious corner apartment is located at the highest level in the complex. The apartment has two levels. On the upper living area there is a bedroom with two single beds and a double bunk bed and there is also a bathroom at this level. The apartment has a beautiful view view of the lake on one side, and the Swiss village of Morcote on the other. The complex has a lift that takes you to the mezzanine floor. In addition, there are just a few steps to negotiate to enter the apartment. To the south there is a view over Porto Ceresio, which is 2 km away. The densely wooded surroundings are an invitation to go for walks. The complex also has a shared swimming pool where you will be able to relax. You can also enjoy views of the summits of Mont Lema, Balcone d'Italia (Sighingola) and Mont Generoso. The lake is 1 km away and you will find a variety of restaurants there. A good supermarket is in Porto Ceresio, where you can walk along the shores of the lake. A boat connects Porto Ceresio and, among others, Morcote and Lugano. The train takes you to Varese and Milano. There are several markets in the surrounding district; among others there is one in Luino (30 minutes away by car). You will also be 30 minutes by car away from Lugano, about 45 minutes from Como, and one hour from Milan and its airport (Milano Malpensa). Easy ski slopes are about one to two hours away by car.
