Holiday in Pettigo, Donegal: Pettigo has a choice of pubs and a restaurant as well as a the 'Cowshed Studio' showroom displaying and selling locally made crafts. Just nearby is the village of Belleek, where the factory famous for producing the internationally renowned Belleek Pottery is located. Ederney, just down the road, gives a taste of the numerous historical sites in the area. One of the most notable is Drumskinney Stone Circle. Within a half-hour's drive there are two 18 hole golf-courses, the sandy beaches of Bundoran and Rossnowlagh, an aquatic centre and all water-sports and swimming facilities.

Places to visit: Take a day's tour to visit such places as the renowned Marble Arch Caves, Yeat's Country in Sligo, the Ulster American Folk Park and the magnificent natural spectacle of the Giants Causeway. The magnificent beaches of Donegal have to be seen to be believed. The mountain scenery and coastline of Donegal are breathtaking and can be enjoyed as you tour the area. The beautiful places are within easy reach - but it takes a while to get there since you will have to stop frequently to admire the view!
