Ocean view holiday apartment in Agni Bay, Corfu - Maria's apartments are beautifully situated at the far end of the quiet Greek village of Loustri - the village just above Agni Bay. The apartments boast fantastic sea views over to the Albanian mountains on your left hand side, and overlook the bay of Agni to your right hand side. What more could you want as you are enjoy a glass of wine on the private balcony! Each balcony has a marble table and chairs - ideal for breakfast, that early evening glass of wine or just drinking in that fabulous view! Inside both apartments (upper and lower), are identical and sleep two people. Entry is directly into the kitchen/lounge area, with the French doors and covered balcony to your left. The floors throughout are in a traditional stone.
The views from the balcony are breathtaking. The upper apartment does have a slightly better panoramic view than the lower, but this is only a minor observation. From both apartments, you can see across to the Albanian mountains and down to Agni Bay. Below the apartments are well maintained terraced gardens
and Maria and her husband, Yanny are very proud of their many pots of flowers.
The idyllic bay of Agni is just a short walk through the olive groves.There are several paths down, one more road-like than the others. It takes about 5 mins to walk down and about 15 minutes, including the time for stopping for a couple of short rests, to get back! The path is not very well lit at night - so a torch is recommended.

Agni Bay is home to Taverna Agni - Agni Travel. In Greek Agni means un-spoilt and this describes our bay perfectly. It is not a 'resort' as there are just three Tavernas (each with their own jetty for mooring up to) and a couple of local buildings. The bay is reached mainly by hired motor boats, although there is a narrow road and car parking these days. Yachts and large motor cruisers often frequent the bay.

Kalami: The bay of Kalami nestles below the hills of North East Corfu and is famous for both its beautiful beach, and Lawrence Durrell's 'White House'. A popular destination for couples, Kalami is also ideal for a family holiday with tavernas, safe swimming, water sports and boat hire - everyone is catered for!
Kouloura: The tiny fishing village of Kouloura is not a resort but a working harbour, where many of the locals moor their boats. The view of the harbour is probably one of the most famous in the area, having been painted by many visiting artists. The main house is owned by the Agnelli family (who also own Ferrari!) and is used as their holiday home. The nearby taverna specializes in locally caught fish. Kouloura is an excellent example of a small traditional Greek bay that has not been influenced by tourism.
Krouzeri: Krouzeri has a long pebbly beach offering safe swimming, water sports and diving. Beachside tavernas provide welcome refreshments to those enjoying the beach and excellent snorkelling. The nearby Nissaki Beach Hotel offers a swimming pool which is open to non-residents, a restaurant and bar and, during the evening a low-key disco. There is a jetty/collection point for the Taverna Agni water taxi which offers an evening service to Taverna Agni and a twice-weekly trip to Corfu Town (a small charge is payable to help with the running costs).
