Villa on Skiathos - Villa Maestrali, with breathtaking views, is situated on the exclusive Kalamaki Peninsula of Skiathos Island.
The L-shaped villa is centered around a very large South-West terrace, completely private for sun bathing. The ample shaded area is enjoyable for reading or having a meal, while gazing out over the bay.
In the evening, with a glass of lovely Greek wine, it is the perfect spot to watch the amazing sunset.
Two of the three twin bedrooms open onto this terrace.
The third twin bedroom has its own private little terrace towards the East with a beautiful view of the sea and trees in the morning light.
There is always a soft breeze and it is pleasant to have breakfast here, or to just sit and relax in the shadow of its old pine tree.
All bedrooms have new beds, as well as A/C. There are two bathrooms
The new, open plan, fully equipped kitchen with a dining area for 6, has washing machine, dishwasher and fresh water from its own well on the property.
The spacious living room with fireplace, has an equally beautiful view on the sparkling water from the interior.
The nearest beach, bus stop and super-market are just a 10-minute downhill walk away.
To further explore the island and its many beautiful beaches, we recommend renting a car, which can be brought directly to the villa.
As an alternative, taxis and busses, which, in the season, run every 10 -15 minutes.
The best Taverna, "Stathis", is a 10 minute downhill walk away, with tables in a garden full of flowers and old trees.
The Greek/Australian owners serve excellent food and are very friendly. In the cold months, they serve in a small cozy cottage with a fire place.
With its choice of 60 marvelous beaches, Skiathos is easily attainable.
During the season, there are numerous direct flights from the U.K. and many European cities, as well as daily connecting flights via Athens, for those coming from the United States or Canada.
The weekly rental price varies, according to season, between € 1,040 and € 2,520 (approx. $1,600 - $3,890).

Holiday on Skiathos: Beaches: Over 60 sandy beaches with clear blue water, all around the island. "Vromolimnos Beach", just below the villa, 10 minutes on foot, reachable by car.
"Banana Beach" for nude bathing, romantic sunsets, at the end of "Koukounaries Beach", 15 minutes by car, longer by bus. "Little Banana Beach", gay beach around the rocks from "Banana".
Famous "Lalaria", reachable only by boat and a sight to see.
Best Tavernas on Skiathos: (The villa has a welcoming book with information and directions for the tavernas)
"Stathis": Our favorite, just down the hill on the main road. Great fresh food, beautiful, romantic setting, extremely friendly. "Anatoli" is more expensive, but where locals go. Great food and wines. "Amfiliki", wonderful fish and appetizers, in town, near hospital, reservation recommended, as the locals love it. "Alessandros", family taverna,gorgeous setting under trees in the old town, with live greek music, very friendly, great food and service.
History: Visit the old fort of Kastro, on the north side of the island. Wild beach with waves, reachable by boat or care and an adventurous hike. Has one small taverna with a fantastic view of the fort and the bay. In town, you can visit the completely preserved birth house of Papadiamantis, the famous Greek writer and social critic.
Several monasteries on the island are worth visiting as well. They sell local wines, liqueurs and pure olive oil.

Notes to the Rates of the Villa in Skiathos, Aegean Islands
We require a 25% of the rental fee deposit within 10 days of booking.
The balance is due up to six weeks prior to arrival date.
Cancelation must be stated six weeks prior to booked arrival date, thereafter the total balance is due. The deposit is non-refundable.
A weekly cleaning, as well as a change of towels and linens are free of charge.
(Of course,the renter is welcome to use the washer.) More cleaning can be arranged at a charge.
Electricity and water costs are included in the rental fee.
On request, we can arrange to have a rental car brought to the villa.
