Holiday of Arrens in the Val d'Azun: Les Artigaux is situated near the picturesque village of Arrens in the Val d'Azun. The village is at an altitude of 860m and is encircled by the breathtaking peaks of the Pyrénées. Arrens has a small supermarket, two bakeries, a butcher, a newsagent, a pharmacy and a shop selling regional produce. Local delicacies can be also sampled at the restaurants in Arrens and neighbouring villages. Throughout July and August, the village has a market every Sunday morning. Other amenities in Arrens include mini-golf, a climbing wall, tennis courts and a heated open-air swimming pool (open July and August). The attractive spa town of Argelès-Gazost (15 minutes away) has a good range of shops and restaurants, as well as an excellent market every Tuesday morning. The historic city of Pau with its elegant architecture is less than an hour away. Lourdes is just 25km away. The town's famous shrine of St-Bernadette attracts millions of visitors and pilgrims each year.

Annual Festivals & Events: The Val d'Azun hosts a number of annual festivals and events – the most famous being the Tour-de-France which passed within 7km of Les Artigaux in 2005. There are also many traditional local fêtes where guests can experience the culture and traditions of the area, as well as buy various local produce such as jam, honey, confit de canard and foie gras. During 2005, local festivals & events included: February - Cross-country Ski Race: Col-du-Soulor; May - International Walking Festival "Eldorando": Arrens; June - International Kite Festival: Lac-d'Estaing; July -Running Race: from Spain to Arrens; August - Medieval Fête: Arras; September - Cutlet Festival: Arrens; October - Working Horse Festival: Aucun.

The rental rates for this property are quoted in GBP per property per week.

Rates above reflect rental costs for Low Season (sleeps 4, 1 twin room, double sofa bed) and Mid Season (sleeps 4, 1 twin room, double sofa bed).
Prices include: all taxes, end-of-let cleaning, bed linen and welcome pack.
To make a reservation the Client must pay a deposit of 20% of the total rent due, either by cheque or by direct transfer into the Owner's bank account. A confirmation receipt and statement will be sent by return of post. The balance of the rent will be payable not less than 6 weeks before the arrival date. Please note that we ask for a fully-refundable security deposit of £200 against breakages and damage.
Lettings will normally commence at 4.00pm on the first day and end at 10.00am on the last day. By prior arrangement, and subject to the arrival and departure of other tenants, some flexibility regarding arrival and departure times can usually be offered.

Bed linen: clean bed linen is provided in the middle of a two-week stay. Towels: towels can be hired at a cost of 5€ per person per week.

Welcome pack: includes tea, coffee, orange juice, tissues, dishwasher tablets & bin bags.
