The community Dolni Kalna is in the Giant mountain chains, aprox. 10km south of Vrchlabi. The many beautiful and historic places of interest of the Giant mountain chains, allows you to enjoy your holiday.
To ski or snowboard there is approx. 200. from your house a lift, which will take you to 1 small piste. The skiarea of Herlikovice (14km) has a 11,3 km long piste, which will keep you busy for days.
If you would like to ride horse during your holiday, then it is possible in Pilnikov(23km).
Snezka is the highest point of the Giant mountain chains. With its 1602m area high above all other mountains. The waterfalls of Mumlavsky and Pancavsky are surely worth it.
In Dvur Kralove is there is a safaripark. With animals from the whole world.
