Twenty minutes from Paphos airport with easy access to 6000 foot Troodos Mountains and situated 300 feet above famous Aphrodite Beach, birth place of Venus. Notes: There are two flat sun loungers that can be used for beds but no mattresses for them. The living room is extremely spacious. One bath and one shower but two bathrooms with WC and basins. Three good balconies for morning and sunset. The apartment is cooler than most as it faces north. The two pools and waterfall are adjacent and for adults. There is a small children’s pool and all facilities are for the adjacent apartments only, giving an air of privacy but also allowing conversation.

Holiday in Paphos, Cyprus: In the centre of Aphrodite Hills Golf course, adjacent to the tennis courts and only five minutes from the beach. The beautiful beach resort of Pissouri is only 15 minutes by car and Paphos airport another 15 minutes. Larnaca airport one hour and a half. Visit Green Kyrenia on the north coast for Crusader castles and the fantasy arches of Richard the Lion Heart`s Belapais Abbey for a slower life style only two hours across a trouble free border crossing at Nicosia. The Troodos mountain villages are two hours away on a dual carriageway or safe wide roads dizzyingly climbing 6000 feet. The area has many restaurants both on the development and nearby villages at amazingly good value. Four courses and wine should not be more than a tenner. Cyprus is next to the Syrian Desert and enjoys a dry mild desert winter and hot dry summers. Sunshine is almost guaranteed all year round and you can swim and snow ski in March on the same day in comfort! Golf details: Golf available at subsidised rates. As a guest of an owner you can buy vouchers at about £50 a round including an electric buggy. For beginners, the excellent 3 hole academy offers reasonably priced lessons at about £25 per hour. The course itself is a 71/70 6,299 metre course in a surrounding protected by its national park status. It is designed to the highest international standards by Cabell Robinson allowing exciting drives across a 400 foot ravine and wonderful views of the sea. Sunday lunch (£15) at the clubhouse is a memory you will never forget. The course is well watered and velvety emerald green throughout the year with a desalination system. In Cyprus the sun shines for all but about ten days of the year, so it is at its most seductive in October and April when the Western Med is unpredictable.
