In the wine cellar you can enjoy Istrian prosciutto and cheese, together with your host prepare sausages made according to the old family recipe on a fireplace, drink Istria "supa" and eat bread from the baker's oven. In the large kitchen you can learn how to prepare traditional Mediterranean and continental dishes using the ingredients from the garden or taste select wines of Istrian winemakers from their wine collection.

Holiday in Marcana, Istria: Children, as well as adults can enjoy playing, go hiking, cycling and horseback riding on the nearby ranch owned by friends of the family. Those who wish may go partridge or rabbit hunting, and sun lovers can bask in the sunshine and go swimming in the sea some ten minutes from the "Stancija". To keep you informed round the clock even during your vacation, there is a telephone and link to Internet in your room at disposal. In case you have forgotten your laptop, you can rent it, and there is also satellite TV and VCR.

Directions: From Vodnjan, heading in the direction of Barban, turn left after some 5 km towards the village Buduleri, then after about 300 m along an unpaved road you come to a guarded parking of the "Stancija". We are open all year round. All the facilities are intended primarily for its guests whereas for other guests not accommodated advance booking is needed. The total accommodation capacity is 22-26 beds. The capacity of shared premises: 2 dining rooms with a capacity of 30 persons, wine cellar with a capacity of 20 persons, roofed over terrace on the ground floor with a capacity of 30 persons and first floor gallery (terrace) with a capacity of 20 persons.
