The bungalow “Bad Mitterndorfö is situated right in the heart of Austria, in a very quiet location and in the vicinity of woods. The centre of the village is within easy reach and the tourism facilities in Bad Mitterndorf offer a variety of activities. It has all the advantages of a prime location: fresh, clear air of the kind that is only to be found in the mountains. A rural man-made landscape, sweet-smelling meadows, shady woods, bubbling brooks and romantic trails. A sunny, cloudless plateau 812 meters above sea level, snow guaranteed in winter, daffodil meadows in spring, nice and cool in summer, a paradise for hikers and mountain climbers, long, mild days in autumn.
In winter you can ski here in the valley and on the Tauplitzalm (up to 2,000 m above sea level). There is a ski school here as well as a ski nursery, 80 km double-tracked cross-country skiing trail with a skating trail, tennis on a covered court, squash, horse-drawn sleigh rides with a stop for refreshments, cleared winter trails, and you can go tobogganing, curling, ice climbing and snow shoeing here.
In the summer there is a water world park, and you can enjoy swimming in the lakes in the Salzkammergut, playing tennis outdoors and on a covered court, squash, minigolf, fishing boating on the reservoir, cycling, mountain biking, taking part in guided mountain and lowland walks with fun and games in the alpine huts, bars, skittles, park concerts, rides in horse-drawn carriages, river rafting, family canyoning and tandem paragliding.
There is a wide variety of culinary delights, cosy restaurants, a discotheque and pubs, thermal spas and thermal public baths, sauna, solarium, opportunities to take a cure, local heritage museum and evening entertainment with local songs and dances.
