Cottage in Stellenbosch, Winelands: Stellenbosch Cottage in Winelands, Western Cape - The cottage consists of a main unit, and a rear cottage, separated by a gardened courtyard. The main unit can accommodate 4 persons, two downstairs (extra length queen-size bed), and two upstairs (two 3/4 beds), en-suite. The rear cottage has a queen-size bed, and can accommodate two persons sharing. Both units have their own kitchens, the main unit having a very comprehensive kitchen with oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. This kitchen is combined with the sitting room with TV. The rear cottage unit has oven, hob, mini-fridge and dishwasher. Bathroom with bidet, and has a TV with DVD player. Our cottages in Stellenbosch, Winelands can be let together, or separately. There is an off-street parking space at the back of the rear cottage. This is accessed via a set of remote-controlled security gates. The cottages are adjacent to the University of Stellenbosch Main Campus.

The cottage is in Ryneveld Street in the heart of Stellenbosch, an historical South African University town. 86 Ryneveld Street is in a block adjacent to the main University campus. Numerous facilities are within walking distance. The famous Stellenbosch winelands hardly need to be mentioned. Here one can visit winefarms, and do wine tastings and tours. Numerous golf courses are situated around Stellenbosch.

Notes: 86 Ryneveld Street is one of only 18 cottages left of what was once four blocks of slave cottages. The rest were destroyed by fire. Today these have all been declared national monuments. The cottage was occupied for some years by the wife of the well known South African rugby player, Dr. Danie Craven. The unit was extensively renovated towards the end of 2004, and has only recently come onto the market.

In addition the parking bay is R20 per day. After 3 nights, a 10% discount applies, and after 7 nights, a further 10% discount applies.
