Holiday house in Simon's Town, Cape Town - Gleneagle Lodge is situated just 40 min from the centre of Cape Town in Welcome Glen, Glencairn midway between the holiday village of Fish Hoek and the historic naval town of Simon's Town. The lodge is able to sleep 8 guests comfortably and is equipped with all the modern conveniences. All bed linen used at the lodge is either cotton mix or 100% cotton. The mattresses and pillows have protectors and covers to ensure that you enjoy a peaceful and comfortable nights sleep. The main bedroom is ensuite with a balcony and panoramic mountain views. Whether you're having coffee & pastries at sunrise or sipping cocktails at sunset, the balcony will provide you with a stunning backdrop. The main bedroom is over 30 sqm and is an ideal place to relax and unwind at the end of a busy days sightseeing. This room is also equipped with a telescope which is perfect for viewing the stars at night from the balcony. The lounge has been fitted with it's own bar area, wood fire and satellite TV with cinema system, so you needn't leave the house to relax and unwind. The lounge enjoys sunlight all day and guests are able to see out onto the garden, pool area and beyond through the large windows. At the front of the lodge the spacious twin / double bedrooms have views overlooking the mountain conservation area. All bedrooms come equipped with a dressing table and mirror, wardrobe and bedside storage. International plug adaptors are available on request.

Notes: The lodge has a large enclosed garden to the rear containing indigenous plants (fynbos), swimming pool and patio with barbecue (braai). Our swimming pool has a safety cover which means that you can relax fully whilst your children play in the self contained garden.
The lounge leads out on to the garden entertainment area where our guests can enjoy a barbecue, a dip in the swimming pool or simply relax and enjoy the view. In the distance you can see Elsies Peak and Black Hill conservation area - an ever changing vista which is ideal to sit and watch as the sun goes down. The entertainment area, braai and pool have been equipped with substantial lighting, making it seem as though the lounge stretches outdoors at night.
