    Holiday in Kenton on Sea - Game lodge in Eastern Cape - Situated on the banks of the Kariega River, this rustically luxurious tented camp will leave you with memories of a bygone era - how simple and enjoyable life used to be before all the distractions of our modern age.
    All our tents in the game lodge in Eastern Cape are fixed on raised wooden decks, accommodate two adults sharing in one king size or two twin beds. Additional camp beds are available for young children sharing with parents. En-suite bathrooms (with hot and cold water) and mosquito netting on all doors and windows ensure that a night at Sibuya River Camp is comfortable and safe. Sibuya is Malaria Free.
    The soft glow of lanterns, the water gently lapping on the boats and the sounds of the African night will be the only distractions as you reminisce in the warm embrace of the evening fire, while our friendly camp staff prepare the Finest African Fireside Cuisine.

    Holiday at Sibuya Game Reserve: Sibuya Game Lodge in Eastern Cape is a 2300 hectare, Malaria Free, Big Four reserve conveniently situated near Kenton on Sea along South Africa's Sunshine Coast, just 130 kms from Port Elizabeth and 150 kms from East London.
    Boat trips to the river mouth, Kenton’s idyllic beaches and a host of other river and game reserve activities guarantee that any length of stay will be too short, and will leave you saying "Sibuya" - we will return.
    Bontebok and Oribi, two of the rarest antelope species in South Africa, and a host of other animals including Elephant, Rhino, Giraffe, Buffalo and Zebra are just a few of the 40 African mammals you are likely to see. For the bird lover more than 300 bird species, including the exceptionally rare Narina Trogan, will deliver hours of pleasure. Otters and crabs frequent the river banks while seals and turtles make occassional forays upriver to the tented camps.

    Suggested Short-Stay Program: 11.45 am: Guests arrive at our Reception at 39 Eastbourne Road, Kenton on Sea, for check-in.
    12.00 pm: Our riverboat departs for the Reserve and River Camp - it is now time to put away your watch and mobile phone and allow the beauty of the Kariega Valley to enter your soul. After settling into their tents, guests enjoy a picnic lunch on the deck overlooking the Kariega River.
    Guests can choose from a number of afternoon activities and whether to enjoy a game drive, river cruise, canoe trip, bush walk or simply relax at River Camp with a fishing line in the river.
    Guests return to camp to freshen up for sundowners followed by a sumptuous dinner cooked on the open fire.
    Afterwards, an evening game drive is taken under the starlit sky.
    Return to camp for a fireside nightcap, whilst listening to the serenading nightjars and hooting owls.

    2nd day Program: Next morning, a full breakfast is served after which guests leave for a morning game drive to the Look Out, high above the Kariega River and overlooking a Fish Eagle's nest.
    12.00pm: Departing guests return by boat to our Reception in Kenton on Sea. Unfortunately, it is now time to find the watch and switch on the phone!
    It is now that you will understand the true meaning of 'Sibuya' - we will return.
