Holiday house on Coromandel Peninsula is a two level home. It is located on top of the hill, built to enjoy spectacular views over the beach and out to sea, set on 8 acres of native bush offering both privacy & peace.
The property is well-suited to two or perhaps even three families holidaying together, has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one with wheelchair facilities). The house features include sets of wooden bi-fold doors either side of the lounge, tongue & groove wooden ceilings, fireplace, large open plan lounge/kitchen/dining areas. The first and second bedrooms have queen sized beds, both these rooms have built-in wardrobes and a door leading outside facing the pool and sea. Third bedroom has a double bed with single bunk and built-in wardrobe. The fourth bedroom is near the front entrance and has a set of wooden bunks. The fifth and largest bedroom is upstairs in a loft-style room with angled ceilings that is an ideal choice for the children with one queen. The mezanine area at the top of the stairs has a library. The lounge/dining area contains an oblong shaped wooden dining room table with 8 wooden chairs, piano, comfortable corner lounge suite & chairs, coffee table, SKY TV, DVD, video and mini system stereo. New kitchen with electric oven and gas hob, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher, plenty of crockery, etc.
This house has magnificent views looking out to the islands!

Holiday on Coromandel Peninsula, New Zealand: The Mercury Bay area of the Coromandel is one of quite stunning beaches and bays. Azure blue waters roll onto clean white sands, while protective arms of bush clad hills shelter the bays and further enhance the scenic spendour of the area. Mercury Bay is a very popular holiday destination and during the summer months the population swells considerably. For the rest of the year, a relaxed, away from it all atmosphere prevails. Whitianga is the main settlement of Mercury Bay, an attractive township with a deepwater harbour. Its harbours have made Whitianga the home of the Mercury Bay Boating club and the departure point for big game fishing enthusiasts. Many charter boats ply the waters of Mercury Bay for fishing or scenic cruising.

The maximum number of guests listed is not intended to be totally Adults - it is assumed the number will be mixture of Children and Adults. Surcharge $20 for additional children and $40 for additional adults when numbers over 8 people.
There is usually a 7 day minimum stay if booking the Christmas and/or New Year weeks. Short term rentals will be considered at "Off Peak" times. Arrival times: 3.00pm (please notify us if you cannot arrive before 8pm). Departure time: 10.30am
There is no need to bring your own linen, you may need to bring more towels if you are more than 8 people.
