Greatview is one of Jamaica’s most impressive private home which has the most magnificent open plan. As you enter the grand entrance doors of Greatview, you are struck by openness of this house which opens right through to the most spectacular views of the blue azures of the Caribbean Sea, the famous greens of the Half Moon golf course. The floors are of French limestone, Travertine marble, a very solidly built private home with attention to detail in every room. Wander out on the luxuriously furnished outdoor veranda and gaze at the amazing feature of the 20’ x 40’ infinity pool. It is mesmerizing to see the waters edge falling seemingly onto the golf greens below. Greatview is a grand mansion which is located on three levels. Smoking is not permitted in the bedrooms.

Master bedroom: The master bedroom is the largest, often referred to as the Plantation Room. There is a wonderful four-poster king-size bed with its own sitting room with entertainment unit, TV. The Master bedroom is a private sanctuary on its own. This bedroom is located on the main floor with a mini-fridge, antique writing des, internet access accessible in this area. This master bedroom has the most fabulous bathroom with double vanity, whirlpool bath, walk-in steam shower and bidet. One of the most interesting features here is that the bathroom opens up into this wonderful outdoor spa and massage area, built partially out of Jamaican cut stone. There is an open-air shower here that will give the most wonderful and relaxing ….you will never want to leave Greatview.
Bedrooms 2, 3: Bedroom 2 has two queen-size beds and is located on the Main floor. Another glamorous bathroom with quality fixtures throughout. This ensuite bathroom has a tub-shower combination and opens to a balcony. The bathroom here has a handicap toilet seat and handicap seat in the shower to accommodate those who require. This bathroom also opens out onto the same cut stone open air shower and massage area as the Master Bedroom. There is a connecting passage to the Master bedroom. Bedroom 3 is furnished in the most wonderful Asian style, with a unique Chinese chairs, art pieces, furniture…attention to detail as reflected in every room in this private home. This bedroom is located on the mid-level of this mansion. This is a very private and wonderful retreat. Views are towards the rolling hills of Montego Bay.
Bedrooms 4, 5: Bedroom 4: This bedroom is fondly known as the Frog Room. This is located on the top level with a kingsize bed. This room has a wonderful and charming frog theme and has a balcony that opens up to the fresh air and the Caribbean Sea. Ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 5: This bedroom is located besides the Frog Room and has a lovely decorated Kingsize bed and own balcony. Views are also magnificent from this balcony. Ensuite bathroom.

Greatview is a fabulous venue for weddings. Greatview will have weddings of up to 60 people with a maximum of 10 people in residence. There is a refundable damage deposit of $2000 US and the owner must approve the wedding planner. Greatview is able to cater a reception or wedding dinner at a cost of between $45 and $65 per person, depending on the chosen menu. If the wedding is to be catered by non-Greatview staff, there is a charge $300 for the use of the property for the wedding or reception.
