Our Guest House in Brantome is an old converted barn and granary decorated to a high standard. Set in large grounds with breathtaking views over the surrounding countryside. Sun loungers, garden chairs and tables are provided for our guests’ comfort – so you may spend the day just relaxing by the swimming pool or in the hot tub and soaking up the peace and tranquillity. Dining out is not a problem. Grange Haute is only a five minute drive to Brantome, also known as the Venice of the Perigord. This is a small market town surrounded by a gently flowing river. On one side the splendour of the magnificent 9th century abbey and bell tower, on the other a maze of narrow streets with a wealth of restaurants that cater for all tastes and budgets. There are also pavement cafes to while away the hours, drinking coffee or a good glass of wine and dozing in the warm sunshine. A bustling market fills the town every Friday morning. Excellent comfort and service – the owners home is your base in the Dordogne. Do not worry if you have forgotten a hair dryer, dressing gown, sewing kit, everything you need is provided.
