Chalet Jeantet is a uniquely designed luxury chalet apartment, converted from an early farmhouse which was the first to have water in the village of Manigod. The split level apartment has a wealth of rustic beams and is tastefully furnished with many antiques throughout.
All four bedrooms are true doubles, with three double beds in the three main bedrooms one with an additional single and one with a shower room en suite. The remaining bedroom has three single beds, one as a bunk. There is a huge family bathroom with a sunken bath and a separate guest WC. The living room is spacious, has vaulted ceilings, a huge open fire, books, games, tv and an atmosphere of harmony. The kitchen is equipt with modern appliances, steps lead to the dining area with windows opening on to a south facing balcony. There are exceptional views, to the mountain of La Tournete and the Chaine des Aravis.

Manigod is a traditional mountain village set high on the route to the Col de la Croix Fry five minutes from the ski pistes. Eight minutes from Thones twenty minutes from Annecy and ten minutes from la Clusaz and Le Grand Bornard.

Aravis: Manigod is a traditional village set high in the Alps of the Haute Savoie close to Thones viewing the dramatic Aravis ski region. The resort is famous for farming and the production of its fine rebluchon cheese. Some of the most dramatic mountain views in the Rhone Alps region are here. The area is part of a traditional ski region which as an established and unspoilt resort caters for a discerning market. Located close to La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornard . Annecy is a short distance away too this is a famous medieval city full of cultural interest. The natural beauty of the lake meets with the mountains making the whole area rich in contrasts.
Activities: There is a variety of skiing across five massifs catering for all ability levels. There are plenty of blue and green runs for starters the ski-ing amongst the forested runs being uniquely enchanting. For intermediates and advanced there is access to the Massif La Aiguille, La Balme with powder in the gullies at Fernay and Borderan. A total choice of 330 km of pistes throughout the region, 118 runs and 156 lifts the highest being 2,600 meters 8,580 ft. There are two snowboard parks, floodlight skiing and snowshoe walking plus cross country skiing and ice skating. Summer is a spectacular time in the mountains. Manigod provides an exceptional location for freedom of the pastures walking or mountain biking. Golfing, sailing or swimming is nearby. For the more adventurous parapenting , climbing or via ferrata.
