Cottage in Discovery Bay, Jamaica: Waterfront cottage in Discovery Bay, Jamaica - Coral Cove consists of 2 absolute waterfront casual cottages which has a remarkable 150' white sand beach located on the beautiful Discovery bay. Cottage 1 is a lovely two bedroom cottage, and Cottage 2 is a comfortable and casual 4 bedroom cottage. This makes a total of 6 bedrooms and 6 ensuite baths. All bedrooms have air conditioning for your comfort. There are complimentary sea kayaks, and floats for the water, satellite TV, 3 televisions, sound system with CD in each cottage. Coral Cove is very child friendly and excellent choice for family or casual group reunions. Coral cove can accommodate a total of 15 guests, if all beds and day bed is used. Wonderful swimming pool which is on a lovely green and well manicured lawn.

Notes: The interiors of the cottages have been designed to the most relaxing and casual style with each bedroom having their own remote control air conditioners. Dining is casual, and can be indoors or out doors on request. The staff is happy to arrange a beach party, where food is cooked on the outside grills. If the cottages are booked by different parties, guests of the 4 bedroom have exclusive use of the pool. This is a wonderful cottage for families with kids.

About Discovery Bay: Discovery Bay is located on the north coast between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios. This area remains quiet, unspoiled and offers one of the most scenic sequence of brilliant blue bays, white sandy beaches and colorful fishing villages. History says Columbus "discovered" Jamaica in 1494 when he landed in Discovery Bay. Recent research, however, suggests that he only sailed into the Discovery Bay Harbor in search of fresh water. Finding none, he named the place "Puerto Seco” (Dry Harbor) and proceeded west to the next harbor, a river which he named Rio Bueno. Jamaica’s original inhabitants, formerly called Arawaks, put up a valiant fight. Columbus overpowered them and claimed the land for the Queen of Spain.
