Vacation Home in Ontario, Canada: Luxury Waterfront Vacation Home - This luxurious year-round retreat is located on 1 acre with 148' of Georgian Bay shoreline near Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada. Manicured lawns and pathways gently slope toward an amazing firepit and the water. The gentle slope continues on the shoreline which is comprised of shallow layered, smooth stone - a great place for fossil finding and a bit of stone skipping. A breath-taking waterfront home with solid pine floors, walls and ceilings on the main and loft levels. A 22-foot vaulted ceiling in the great room features floor-to-ceiling windows to the east overlooking the bay and a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace to the west. The retreat is fully air-conditioned, has a gas furnace and supplemental electrical heat in all rooms. The entertainment system includes satellite, 2 televisions, 2 VCR/DVD players, radio, CD player, speakers on two levels, a nice selection of videos for all ages. There is a stocked toy closet with board games. Another floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace is located in the rec room and a woodstove in the master bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and has all the modern conveniences. All 5 bedrooms have natural pine furniture and queen size beds. Each of the three floors has a full washroom; the lower level has a whirlpool tub instead of a shower. Lots of privacy is available with 3 decks; adjacent 400 acres of land with over 6km of groomed trails suitable for hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing. Sunrises are absolutely stunning on Georgian Bay!

Notes to the Rates of the Vacation Home in Ontario, Canada
NOTE: ALL RENTALS ARE BASED ON FOUR PERSONS occupying retreat; additional per person cost applicable. We require a non-refundable, non-taxable booking deposit of $500 to hold your timeframe. This booking deposit becomes your security/damage deposit upon arrival. Following inspection after departure, it is returned to you (less any damages if applicable). We accept Visa or MasterCard for the deposit if you prefer. PAYMENT: 1/3 total rental is due 90 days prior to arrival; balance 60 days prior. CANCELLATION: Booking deposit is refundable until 90 days prior to rental; non-refundable closer than 90 days. The retreat is cleaned before your arrival and following your departure and included in pricing. On longer stays cleaning is available for an additional fee. All hydro, heat and propane charges are included in your rental fee. Long distance telephone calls are the rentor's responsibility. Our minimum rental is 2 days. Long-term rentals are available at discounted rates; please inquire. There are no discounts on 2 weeks or less during high season. Rentals over 30 days' duration are not subject to accommodation tax of 5%.
