You can reach the city center in 15 minutes by bus.

Approach-Public transport: The Ida Guest-house is situated in the green belt of Budapest, only 3 kms far from either the historic quarter of the town, or the shopping –and entertainment centers.
From the Western Railway Station-by taxi or- Take the underground line 3 to Ferenciek square (3 stops). There to bus number 8 (in direction of Zólyomi street). The bus stop is infront of the University Library and opposite to the Central Café. Get out of the busa t Zólyomi street, which follows the Novotel Hotel. After getting off walk downthe Zólyomi street, then take the first turning ont he right. You can find the Ida Guest-house at the end of this street on the left. From the Eastern Railway Station by taxi or-take the bus number 7 to the Ferenciek square. There to bus number 8 (in direction of Zólyomi street). The bus stop is infront of the University Library. Get off the bus at Zólyomi street, After getting off walk downthe Zólyomi street, than take the first turning ont he right.

Approach-from Southern Railway Station and Airport: From the Southern Railway Station-by taxi or-take bus number 139 to the Fehér ló street bus stop. You walk back a little and will see the yellow board with the lettering ”IDA”, which leads you to us.
From Airport Ferihegy II.-by taxi

Approach-Car: M1, M7 motorway leads you to Budapest. You’ll see the Hotel Wien on the right, stay in the right-hand side lane as far as the the first traffic lights (600 metres). Then turn left and opposite to you you will catch the sight of our yellow board with lettering ”IDA”, which leads you to us.
Leaving M3 motorway going in direction of the Center sign you get to ”Hungária” boulevard. In this road take the sigth turning on the right , this is the ”Thököly” road (út). Then the best direction is ”Thököly road, Rákoczi road, Kossuth Lajos street, Erzsébet bridge, Hegyalja road. After the long ”Hegyalja” road slope you should go on the overpass turning left, which leads to Wien, Gyõr. Go along as far as the first traffic lights, turn right, from here the yellow board with lettering ”IDA” leads you to us. Leaving M5 motoway go in direction of ”Lágymányosi” bridge. The best way to us is ”Lágymányosi bridge, Szerémi út, Galvani út, Andor utca, Egér út, Budaörsi út”.
